Louis Stokes is where it all began, repotting the plants Tyson had been growing, with donated seedlings, and the encouragement of Angela Brazile (VA Nurse and Vet.) and others at the VA, we began monthly deliveries to Veterans in the Spinal Cord Injury floor, as well as "Welcome Home Gardens" for recently housed veterans.   

 

     Ray continues to pass out plants donated from our partners in Cleveland, and expand the the amount of Veterans and communities we can get involved.  By providing support for food deserts, and the aesthetic therapeutic value of being around plants, consciously or not.

   

        The Veterans and Project Green Thumb wish to thank the Staff at Louis Stokes Medical Center, contributors from various Veterans Groups, the Coast Guard, The Army Engineer Command and  Petitti's, Home Depot, Lowes, Martha's Garden and others for their continued support.
